The hotel has an excellent central location, right next to the beach, restaurants, and a good supermarket. We enjoyed the convenience of the main town center and beaches being nearby. Additionally, we found a lovely English Tea Room close by where we could enjoy hot beverages.

The bathroom /shower room needs upgrading we much prefer a shower over a bath. There was a constant smell of urine in there, other than that everything else was fine.

We were pleasently surprised when we arrived at Hostal San Miguel. From the outside it doesnt look like much but inside it was extremely clean and well presented. We were greeted by a very nice Spanish man who runs the place and who gave us lots of information including a map on arrival. There is no lift which might be an issue for some people with young kids but the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. The air conditioning units are brand new and worked really well which was important to us being there in August. Some nights it was nearly too cold in the room. There is a security safe in the room also and the shower was excellent. Location was also quite good, It is about 10 minutes walk to the Balcon de Europa.

The swimming pool was much too small to be bothered with. It was more like a plunge pool and there was only 4 sunbeds on the tiny terrace. Not all of the rooms have fridges and kitchens.

I stayed in a stylish room with air conditioning and a high-pressure shower, and the hotel's location was very convenient, close to all the shops.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great to have a swimming pool on the roof, clean rooms, and a new quiet A/C unit. Very close to the bus station and to the beach.

I had a great time in a clean room with a tidy bathroom that had a shower, hair dryer, and bidet.

Excellent communication with the hostal keepers. Nice sun roof, with very small pool.

The place is superior, immaculately clean, and the king studio is new-fashioned and spotless, with a nice and clean bathroom, including a bidet.

Great welcome form friendly staff, nice room and very clean. The free interent and telephone calls was a lovely touch as was the option to collect more towels and soaps etc without having to ask, they seem a very trusting team which makes for a very pleasant stay. We stayed above the busy road, but the double glazing worked wonderfully so not problems and during the day its quite nice to hear the husstel and bustle of the town. The small pool and terrace are an added bonus. Have stayed in other hostals in Nerja and this wins due to the friendly atmosphere.

Great choice for weekend. Exceptionally clean, small hotel. Well-designed rooms with large private terrace, hair dryer, for example, had a really really nice stay for an extra 4 nights. Wide varieties of fab food at breakfast. Location really close to centre and beaches, the many bars and restaurants and the mountain. Also, near the main bus stop.

Convenient location, close to bus stop and town center. Clean rooms with good aircon. Friendly staff and early check-in. Had all necessary amenities. a great choice for a comfortable stay.
